Postal Voting

People's lives are busier than ever before. This may mean that on the day of an election you may find it difficult - or impossible - to get to the polling station. We want as many people as possible to participate in democracy. Obtaining and using a postal vote is a way of taking part and casting your vote at a time and in a place that suits you in advance of an election.

All local councils now offer a service whereby you are able to vote by post, thereby removing the need to go to the polling station on the day.

To apply for a postal vote, click on one of the links below and follow the instructions, returning the forms to the council offices at the specified address to receive your postal vote at the appropriate time.
